| The painting reproduced above has been hanging in the Regimental Church since September, and has caused considerable interest. It measures approximately eight feet by four feet, and has been painted on hardboard. The colours and lighting of the figures are most striking, and the unusual way that the artist has treated his subject makes it a picture which one is compelled to look at. |
| The painting, which as far as we can ascertain has not been given a title, is the work of L/Cpl. Peter Russell, A.C.C., and the whole work was completed in his own room. He presented it to St. Barbara's Church in August of this year. |
