| BOXING (ALDERSHOT). |
| A crowd of about 240 members of Junior Guardsmen turned out to see the Boxers of the A.A.J.L.R. win a well fought competition, some members of the A.A.J.L.R team said after that it was a hard but well fought competition. The Captain of the A.A.J.L.Rs team is J/CSM Barnes who won his fight in the contest he is also the A.B.A. Middle Weight Champion, he has not lost a fight since he started boxing. |
| The ex A.B.A. Middle Weight Champion J/Cpl Hornby lost his match, but said that it was a good fight. |
| J/Pte Kerry did not have such good luck, he lost his fight, and he also got a cracked rib which has put him out of training for some time. |
