Association Annual General Meeting
Held on the 26th March 2022
at the Min-Y-Mor Hotel Barmouth.

4.	Minutes of the 2019 AGM.
Copies of those minutes had been placed on our website and copies placed on the tables for this meeting for members to comment on. there were no matters arising.

5.	Mike Owsley then addressed the Meeting.
a.	Mike then thanked all members present for attending the AGM and reunion.
b.	He also reiterated that what is said or passed at this meeting was on behalf of the whole association.
c.	He then asked members to stand for a minutes silence for those members who have passed away since we last met.
	Dennis Hill, Stewart Bonewell, Gus Boag, Brig Jack Thomas CBE, Roger Petitt, Terry Swinson, Oscar Jans, Ron Bott.
	May They Rest In Peace
	He also welcomed three new members:
	John Mills, Jim O Hagan, Peter Wilkins.
6.	Secretary’s Report
a.	The usual plea to all members to please reply to the Email sent out every year inviting you along to the AGM and reunion.
b.	Try and let me know if you change any of your details.
c.	Due to a comment posted by Rene Dee, earlier in the year with reference to changing our venue and location, and then brought up at this meeting by Mike Owsley, and Brian Marjoram that consideration be given to a change of venue and location. The decision was taken that the AGM and reunion for 2023 be held as usual in Barmouth at the Min-Y-Mor, but in the intervening period Mike Owsley will look to a suitable Venue and location more central. Jim Sherville will draft a letter to all association members asking them to give there answer YES or NO to this possible change it will then be put forward as a proposition at the next AGM.
7.	Treasurer's Report
	Richard could not be present due to a bad case of Nile River fever COVID, However copies of his report have been placed on the tables for you all to read any points or questions should be directed to Richard.
8.	AOB.
	Next year's AGM and reunion will be held on the 24th and 25th March 2023.
	The Charity Chosen was Blind Veterans UK.
	There being no further business the meeting was closed at 1645hrs
In April 2022 Richard Abraham (treasurer) posted a cheque for £700 to Blind Veterans UK.
