| The 2013 Combined Regiments (AAJLR/ICCY) lunch saw a seven man detail arrive in Mayfair, West London for lunch at The Rifles Mess, Davies Street. |
| Although numbers were down on previous years 'The Magnificent Seven' set about the task of an afternoon's jollity and banter with great gusto. |
| We kicked off with a pint in the Barley Mow and then made the short stroll to Davies Street where we were met by the new mess waiter the infamous/famous Rifleman Paul Phillips having returned to 1 Rifles. |
| The afternoon followed the normal pattern of a relaxed meal in good company. The two former Tonafanau boys in attendance (Richard Gale & John Sabini) represented the regiment in the 'who can drink the most port before it runs out competition' with credible performances. |
| The Combined Lunch developed out of the cross over attendance of ex AAJLR and ex ICCY (HSF) members to each other’s functions plus it was another excuse for a long lunch in an interesting venue! |
