Leader Magazine
WINTER 1962.
EDITORIAL.
This edition takes Leader into its third year, and brings a change. In future, the magazine is to be produced annually, in a bigger, better, bumper form at the end of the Summer Term. In this way we shall be able to record a year's events and achievements in a single issue.
Another incidental advantage is that we shall be able to make greater use of our new illustrator, "Sprig", whom we are delighted to have found. Two of his drawings are included herein. He requests that we do not give his name, and, of course, we would never dream of disclosing Capt. Stitt's secrets.
All the photographs in this issue are the work of the Camera Club, who are thanked for their ready co-operation. The line drawing in the middle pages is the work of Mrs. Peggy Molyneux, wife of WO II H. Molyneux, R.A.E.C. We hope that when you are sitting by the Christmas fire, full of pudding and nuts and longing for Tonfanau, it will cheer you and remind you of the place you love so well.
Finally, just to prove how "with it" your magazine is, we quote from the Boxing Notes of Leader, Winter 1961:
"Luckily, the majority of our team will be with us next year to form a nucleus of a team which should be very difficult to beat."
How right we were!
