Leader Magazine
DECEMBER 1960.
EDITORIAL.
This term we produce the magazine under a new name, and with a new cover. This we hope will be the first step in a process of enlarging and improving the magazine into a production to be proud of. It seems appropriate that the many, varied activities of the Regiment should have a worthy chronicle.
The old name for the magazine, 'Pentad', was chosen because, meaning a thing of five parts, it represented the five arms to which members of the Regiment eventually were posted. This, however, has been put out of date by the future arrival of Junior Leaders bound for the CRMP.
Looking back, it has been quite an eventful term, with Bonfire night, a big Go-Kart meeting, Armistice Day, a fine seven-a-side Rugby tournament, and a visit from the Infantry Junior Leaders, and (rather different) the Bishop of Bangor. Some of these will be found detailed in the following pages. In amongst them all has been the rain, which raineth almost every day. If we had here our own meteorological station, its reports would make fascinating reading!
Thanks are due to all contributors, our typist, our illustrator, the several people who have had a hand in duplicating the inner sheets, and to Mr. B. Jones of Towyn for printing the cover.
