DECEMBER 1960.
'LEADER' PRIZE COMPETITION.
Here are the competition answers:
1. The Macdonalds were massacred by the Campbells at Glencoe.
2. Napoleon met his Waterloo in 1815.
3. Yes a woman can win the Victoria Cross - Although none have yet been awarded to women the Victoria Cross has no barrier of colour, creed, sex or rank.
Take your answers to lieutenant oxley and explain to him that the code is in fact a very simple substitvtion. Each letter represents the letter that appears three letters before it in the alphabet. The prize is a voucher for five shillings to be spent in the NAAFI.
[Nonowt: Perhaps the 'fabulous' FIVE SHILLING prize should have been doubled for finding the spelling mistake - hahahah.]
