      Tonfanau Camp, Towyn,
      Merionethshire, N. Wales.
      Tel:  376

      21 Jan 1964

Dear

I write as Chaplain to the Regiment where your son is beginning
what I know you hope to be a long and happy career in the Army.

He will be in my spiritual care during his stay here and I would
like you to know that he will have every opportunity and encouragement
to build his life in the way of the Christian Faith.

There will be regular periods of religious instruction, Morning
Prayers for the whole Regiment on Thursday mornings and Services on
Sunday - Holy Communion and Morning Prayer.

If he is a member of the Church of England but not confirmed he
will have an opportunity to be prepared and presented to the Bishop
for Confirmation.

If he is a member of one of the Free Churches he will have his
religious instruction from the Rev S. Davies, who as a Minister in
Towyn is Officiating Chaplain to the Forces and visits the Camp regularly.

If he is a member of the Roman Catholic, a visiting priest,
Fr. Amyl, will be his spiritual supervisor.

I hope that I shall get to know him well and if he has any
problems or worries he will not hesitate to come to see me.

If there is anything in particular which you would like me to
know about your son or if at any time you are in any way concerned about
him, I hope that you will write to me.

      Yours sincerely,

          K.H. Williams

        (REV K.H. WILLIAMS, CF)
