Dear Association Members

It is that time of the year Gents to let me know if you are attending or not attending our annual Gathering and AGM in Barmouth.

As ever the 16th Annual General Meeting and Reunion is once again to be held at the Min-Y-Mor Hotel Barmouth over the weekend of 29th 30th and 31st March 2019. For those that attend year on year I’m sure you will agree we have a splendid W/E and it a chance to pour more sand out of our ears, and renew old friendships. The Hotel looks after us very well, and to that end I would encourage as many members as possible to attend, your support is what keeps this association going.

Please reply to this letter by any means including carrier Pidgeon with the following information.

  1. Will you be attending the reunion.
  2. Will you be accompanied and with whom.
  3. Will you be staying at the Min y Mor or making your own arrangements.

This allows me an accurate picture of attendance and to keep the rest of the committee in the picture and to write up the minutes accurately, with those present and those sending their apologies, I also get a picture of those members who are unable to attend because of illness or disability, and it is important that they be kept in touch with the association.

For those not staying at the Min Y Mor the cost for the Friday night Dinner and the Buffet on the Saturday night is £22.50pp. You must book with the Min Y Mor reception direct for both these meals as they need this information so they can order the correct amount of food for both nights. They would appreciate a telephone call before arrival.

If you do intend to come along and have not yet booked where to stay it is worth checking with the MIN-Y MOR as there are still rooms available.

Saturday 1630hrs: AGM. Please forward to me any nominations for positions on the committee or items for the Agenda by March 15th 2016. The AGM will be held in the dining room of the Mini-Y-Mor Hotel.

Saturday, 1830hrs seated for the buffet, 1900hrs welcome from the President. The buffet will be followed by a disco and raffle (please remember to bring an item for the raffle).
