Memorandum and AGM Agenda

Dear Members,

Here we are again time once more to pack up your Kit Bags and head for our annual AGM and reunion.

As ever The 15th Annual General Meeting and Reunion is once again in the Min-Y-Mor Hotel Barmouth over the weekend of 23rd/24th March 2018. For those that attend year on year I’m sure you will agree we have a good weekend and a chance to pour more sand out of our ears. The Hotel looks after us very well, and to that end I would encourage as many members as possible to attend, your support is what keeps this association going.

I need to now know whether you intend to come along this year or are giving it a miss and whether you will be accompanied or not, this allows me to keep the rest of the committee in the picture and to write up the minutes accurately, with those present and those sending their apologies, I also get a picture of those members who are ill.

For those not staying at the Min-Y-Mor who wish to attend for dinner on the Friday night the cost is £20pp, and for the Saturday night Shindig the cost is £20pp for the Buffet. You must book with the Min-Y-Mor reception for both these meals they need this information so they can order the correct amount of food for both nights. I have been informed that the Hotel is fully booked for that weekend.

Payment for both nights for those NOT staying at the Min-Y-Mor should be paid direct to the Hotel either before or on the nights but speak to Helen if unsure.

The committee has agreed the following programme for the weekend, the AGM, followed by a Buffet and a 60’s Disco. At the time of going to press I am unsure whether Rick will be able to do the disco this year as he is ill, he will let me know.

Saturday 1630hrs: AGM.
Please forward to me any nominations for positions on the committee or items for the Agenda by March 15th 2016.
The AGM will be held in the dining room of the Mini-Y-Mor Hotel.

Saturday, 1830hrs seated for the buffet, 1900hrs welcome from the President. The buffet will be followed by a disco and raffle (please remember to bring an item for the raffle).
