"SEE HOW THEY RUN". | ||
The Tonfanau Players produced Philip King's farce, "See How They Run", in the AKC Cinema, on the nights of the 25th and 26th November.
Even the failure of the electric supply on the first night did not long stay the vigour of the performance. The play, never at a very high level of seriousness, perhaps had its most memorable moment when the assistant Adjutant emerged from the wings, after being attacked by an escaped prisoner. Without trousers.
With most of the men masquerading as parsons, it is odious to compare, but since his appearance as a Bishop, Lt. Beckingsale is a different man.
